Eleni is a professional architect, an instructor and a PhD Candidate at Carnegie Mellon University. She has worked on architectural projects in Greece and on community visioning projects in Pittsburgh. Her interests include community planning and engagement, sharing and collaboration, urban sustainability, green infrastructure and closed loop systems. She is thrilled to be running a new graduate course on Urban Ecology at the School of Architecture at Carnegie Mellon as part of the Master of Urban Design program. Throughout the semester this blog will be a tool for students to post on facilitated topics, share articles and case studies and document their work as they go.
