A Read on Urban Ecology Definition

Urban Ecology is a process of understanding the interconnection, and also seeking the balance between humanity and nature in a urbanized area. The process starts with a holistic understanding of the ecological interactive process within an artificial or semi-environment, through a series observation on existing social, economic, environmental structure, to help us rationally and dynamically adapt to a better living environment. Urban Ecology could ensure co-existence of diverse species, not burdening our future generations(1) and human’s path is following the law of nature.
